dmesg while nwam is in an inconsistent state
I have just updated to the 2009-05-07 archives after doing a fresh 2009.6
install (pre-release bits). My wired interface was working fine for the BFU,
but on first reboot, the wired interface didn't come up (I'm not sure if we
still need to do a manual restart to get around this?).
Anyway, I did "svcadm disable nwam" and then "svcadm enable nwam", and e1000g0
came up under dhcp and is working, but nwamadm lists the ncus in an unlikely
state:
TYPE PROFILE STATE
ncp User online
ncu:ip e1000g0 online
ncu:phys e1000g0 initialized
ncu:ip iwh0 initialized
ncu:phys iwh0 initialized
ncp Automatic offline
loc Automatic online
loc NoNet offline
loc Legacy offline
Just FYI, the radio is off on iwh0.
Even worse, after I shut down and headed home, I booted in an environment with
the wired interface not plugged in, and I'm still in the above state, though my
e1000g0's IP address is now 0.0.0.0.
I've attached my dmesg output, and have a core file available if its helpful.
