I've since upgraded to 2009-05-12, and can't haven't been able to reproduce
exactly the original bug, but now my wifi interface is showing similar oddness:
$ nwamadm list
TYPE PROFILE STATE
ncp User online
ncu:phys iwh0 offline
ncu:ip iwh0 online
ncu:phys e1000g0 initialized
ncu:ip e1000g0 initialized
ncp Automatic offline
loc Automatic online
loc NoNet offline
loc Legacy offline
This is with everything connected and working. I've attached the debugging
output for this case.
BTW, all I did to make this happen was reboot (everything came up fine).
svcadm disable nwam, then svcadm enable nwam, and I reached this state.
