Summary: RC2-Services Administration Tool does not display
                    correct state of network acitivity
    Classification: Development
           Product: nwam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i86pc/i386
        OS/Version: OpenSolaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P4
         Component: GUI
        AssignedTo: nwam-dev at opensolaris.org
        ReportedBy: virginia.wray at sun.com
         QAContact: nwam-dev at opensolaris.org

I'm testing RC2 and have seen this behavior on two different systems, a Lenovo
T61 and an HP Compaq 6910p. The tool interface for smf shows that both nwam and
the physical network are active. To bring up the tool go to System ->
Administration -> Services. The boxes for physical network interface
autoconfiguration (network/physical:nwam) and physical network interfaces
(network/physical) are both checked. Looking at the command line output for the
two services it shows nwam active and physical:default disabled.

#svcs -a |grep physical
disabled 7:15:04 svc:/network/physical:default
enabled 7:48:18 svc:/network/physical:nwam

This appears to me to be a discrepancy. This may be an smf issue, but I'm
filing it under nwam because there were no discrepancies in any of the other
services I checked. The command line output (disabled/enabled) was correctly
displayed in the tool.
