gnome2.26 NWAM bfu 2009-06-15 NWAM packages 2009-06-16 x86

testcase:-
- system is disconneced from wired i/f.
- cannot join wireless network (wpi0 i/f) using nwam see bug 9523.
- manually configured wpi0 online and connected to wireless LAN

ifconfig -a shows wpi0 UP with dhcp address.
ensure nwam is enabled

1. the nwan icon in the notification area applet does not show the expected
radar type icon.

Left click on icon, select network preferences.
network preferences dialog launches showing
Wireless(wpi0) address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (DHCP) Signal Very Good Speed xx MB/s
However the radar beside it is greyed out.

newamadm list -x
shows ncu:phys wpi0 offline
it does not list an entry for expected 'ncu:ip wpi0'
