gnome2.26 snv_117 installed on U20.
BFU to 2009-06-20, nwam ui packages 2009-06-16

Ultra20, system is configured with
1. nge0 - connected
2. hme0 - connected
3, hme1, hme2, hme3 - not connected.

ifconfig -a shows both hme0 and nge0 UP with valid DHCP addresses
 nwamadm list -x
 ncu:phys    nge0           online         interface or link is up
 ncu:ip      nge0           online         interface or link is up
 ncu:phys    hme0           online         interface or link is up
 ncu:ip      hme0           online         interface or link is up


placing cursor over the icon shows :-
Wired nge0 connected
Wired hme0 connected
(location Automatic, Network Profile Automatic)

Login, icon shows connected status balloon pop up appears indicating switch to
loaction automatic - icon shows connected state.
after approximately 50 seconds
a balloon pop up appears indicating switch to automatic.
icon then shows a small red cross in lower right corner indicating a warning
state. The problem is intermittent, sometimes difficult to reproduce.
The icon shown is :-
SUNWnwam-manager/reloc/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/emblems/nwam-warning.png

On logout/in the icon shows correct (connected) status, again after 50 seconds
it shows a warning status.
