cannot add new location
Having manually added a new location using nwancfg e.g. Office
/etc/nwam/loc.conf contains:-
# more loc.conf
Office
activation-mode=uint64,0;nameservices=uint64,1;nameservices-config-file=string,/etc/nsswitch.files;nfsv
4-domain=string,ireland.sun.com;enabled=boolean,true;
1. launch nwam-manager-properties -l
2. select edit, select network services tab
3. select add, enter "svc:/network/login:rlogin" in SMF service dialog. select
Ok.
4. In Location propertied dialog, select Apply
an error dialog pops up
"Committing Office failed"
select close,
5. In Location propertied dialog, select Ok
an error dialog pops up
"Committing Office failed"
terminal output indicates
"WARNING failed to enable location due to error: entity is in incorrect state"
However,
the service has successfully been added to /etc/nwam/loc.conf
i.e. Office
enabled=boolean,false;activation-mode=uint64,0;nameservices=uint64,1;nfsv4-domain=string,ireland.sun.com;nameservices-config-file=string,/etc/nsswitch.files;svcs-enable=string,svc:/network/login:rlogin;
On editing the network services again svc:/network/login:rlogin is listed.
