thanks for doing this so quickly! I'm seeing some of the same things you
are. One of the issues you experienced above seems to relate to 
9618 On upgrade,        nwam didn't create IP NCU for wired i/f.

The fix did the job to an extent, in that it retried the creation after the
failure:

Jun 25 17:49:58 unknown nwamd[101128]: 1: failed to create link ncu for bge1:
entity is read only

We can see from the log and the nwamcfg output that NCUs for bge1 were created,
however the physical NCU hasn't been re-evaluated after creation, leaving
it stuck in the offline state. Just to confirm my suspicions, try
"svcadm restart nwam" and see what state bge1 ends up in. If a cable
is plugged in, it should be online/up, otherwise offline*/waiting for addr.
