wireless - Intel wireless 4965AG (iwk0)

testcase
1. disconnected wire from wired interface
2. boot system, login as test user.
3. right click on network icon in notification area applet, select refresh
wireless networks. 
- A list of available wireless networks appears in right click menu of icon.
4. select a wireless network

expected result
user should be prompted to enter wep key

actual result:-
nothing happens


workaround (to enable further testing)
- select network preferences
- select iwk0 interface
- select wireless
- select add
In Add wireless network dialog, select dropdown list ESSID), select desired
network, enter valid WEP key.
- select ok.
- logout/in - a successful connection is made to wireless LAN.
