on ystem with a wireless only connection, hover mouse over NWAM icon
leave mouse over nwam icon for 10 seconds.
expected result
tooltip appears and remains visible for 10 seconds
actual result
tooltip appears and disappears after a second or two.
The problem does not occur on systems with wired interface.
