Hi Lin, Renee, I have installed RC5 BFU with latest GUI (RC5) packages I am still seeing this problem.
Logged ? P1 ? BLOCKER - http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=12567 - [RC5] after switching to User profile all interfaces are offine GUI packages available at:- /net/jdsserv.ireland/scratch/month/darrenk/NWAM_Manager_Phase_1 I ended up looking at the NIS client service after I noted I could not disable nwam - noted some messages concerning ypservers in /var/svc/log/network-physical:nwam.log and found a workaround, if user disables nis client before the switch - the new profile comes online (after a few seconds - sometimes takes as long as 40 seconds) Lin, I think you were able to reproduce this problem, can you still reproduce it?, if so can you apply workaround to confirm that it works. I've transfered the bug to daemon, as I recreated the failure without using the GUI. Let me know if you need more information.
