'Edit Wireless Network' dialog in OS X

I'd be happy enough to handle it the way OS X does it (screenshot attached):

When editing a network for which a password has previously been entered, the
password field and 'show password' checkbox are shown as disabled. The
presence of a password is indicated by the appropriate number of mask
characters in the password field.

However, although the password field is 'disabled', you can still click in it.
At that point, the field is cleared, the 'show password' checkbox is enabled
(but remains unchecked), and you can either type a new password, or press
Cancel to revert to the old password. There is no way to reveal the existing
password.

How does that sound?

(This is really what I'd intended to happen all along; sorry the spec wasn't
more clear...)
