nwam-129 GUI packages 128a x86 laptop
AFAIR,
profile Automatic
with the system on the wireless network,  and nwam-manager-properties open
connected wired interface.
switch over completed, nwam icon showed connection to wired established
disconnected wired interface, notification popup appeared indicating switch to
wireless.
System was then left powered on  overnight.
The following morning, nwam-manager was chewing 48% cpu cycles.

gcore of nwam-manager attached with several pstacks of the running process.
