Hi
First of all, I am not an expert (neither a half-expert) in Debian
packaging. I have just done a clean installation of Debian Wheezy x64 (the
minimal installation, none of the options selected at the end of the
installation wizard), and when I try to install nxlog, it reports that I
have some missing dependencies. So I do "apt-get install -f", but the start
of the service done during the installation hungs, it never finishes. I
have solved this installing the "lsb-release" package (that is not
installed with the very basic installation I have done), so I think that
should also a dependency of the package.
One more question. is there any reason to have a 32 bit package for some
distributions (Debian Squeeze), and not for others (Debian Wheezy, Ubuntu,
Red Hat/CentOS)?
Regards and thanks in advance.
