Try a sector antenna for now, if the the signals are too weak go with
an amplifier, just move the antenna and amp further away from humans as RF
radiation may not be safe in larger doses.
If the windows are leaded or otherwise metalized then the antenna must go
outside. Boosting the power transmitted will only boost the power absorbed by
the window.
