I attended a gallery/exhibit/store opening in the East Village last night at an interesting place called "Compact-Impact". Basically, they showcase innovative product design (mostly technology related, and mostly from Japan) in a gallery setting.
The reason I am posting this to the list is that not only do they have an open access point, but in the free program/guide they gave away for the show they had a full page "ad" for nycwireless, including a color map of manhattan showing all the node locations, and the url for the site.
