Well, yes and no. There exist a firmware upgrade for the Silver which would "fool" the card into enhanced security mode, but in order for you to effectively work with it you'll need a Powerbook and MacOS 9, and some Linux users reports that it doesn't really work, and that it also kills RFMon mode for Kismet/Airsnort.
