Hello All,

        Why bother with 2.4 or 5.8GHz when we have 900MHz Spread Spectrum.

        This is what happened when Panasonic was the first to introduce
their "2.4GHz" cordless phones. They were actually 2.4GHz from base to
handset and 900MHz from handset to base. It was a battery issue since the
2.4GHz radios used too much power when initially released. Now, they are
"true" 2.4GHz phones. And most 2.4GHz phones use 2.4GHz both ways. So, this
about the 5.8GHz from base to handset only, does not surprise me. I still
think 900MHz Spread Spectrum is the way to go especially due to 802.11b/a.
And my pick for phones is also Uniden.
