Hi, I am interested in setting up the first wireless free net here in Roseburg, Oregon. My only problem is I am very new to the wireless world and need help.
Do you know of a good, inexpensive, signal strength meter for point-to-point antenna alignment. The link I am trying to setup is a little over 3 miles and I have 24dbi grid antennas on each end. I really want to get the alignment on straight. I have a laptop with an Enterasys wireless net card in it and a micro coax pigtail that will connect the card to an antenna or coax from an antenna. Maybe there is a software signal strength meter that's Windows based? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Pete [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/
