Hello Everyone,

Anyone know of some documentation for explaining this below. It's
for a developer who is attempting to add functionality to his free Mac OS X
based stumbling tool. Any help is appreciated. Post to the list, or e-mail
me directly.

Thanks,
-Ben

Ben,

I'd love to add a promiscuous mode, can you point me to information or
example code for taking apart an 802.11 frame and getting the info without
probing? Getting the AirPort card into promiscuous mode shouldn't be too
much trouble, and a passive approach should work with *any* WiFi card!

I think a toolbar button which switches from probing to promiscuous would be
the right way to add the feature, no exposure if you don't want or need it
easy access if you do.

The latest version of iStumbler jumped to 0.4b, and I've posted it on

Best,
Alf
