I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 with a Linksys signal booster and a 8db gain omni antenna mounted in my window. I have a new SMC 200mw card SMC2532W-B on my notebook.
There is a tree between my boat and the house that has foliage but is not too thick. My boat is approximately 300 yards from the house. I can get signal on the boat with line of sight but as soon as I go below where the table is, I loose the signal. All that is added between me and the Linksys, when I go below, is fiberglass. Is there any way I can configure this so I can have signal below? Maybe a repeater on the back of the boat? I have electricity on the boat, so that's not a problem. Will the Linksys WAP11 work as a repeater and if so how would I configure it?
