Yes, I'd noticed that guide, thanks. I should have been more specific in my posting - 
I was looking for a good layman's explanation of what exactly wireless is, including 
introductory information on spread spectrum, a comparison with tech like Bluetooth, 
etc. (I'm writing a small article for the everyman and wanted to make sure I covered 
all the bases.) 

Think I found an adequate info source at 
http://www.howstuffworks.com/wireless-network.htm. I'm sure there's better out there 
though...
