        You don't state which other AP you have besides the DLink
DWL-900AP+? I ran into a "minor" bug (a few months ago, note sarcasm) that
when I did a repeat off a DLink DI-614+ with a 900AP+, the wireless clients
off the 900 and 614 cannot communicate (ping) when WEP was enabled. I could
ping the gateway, so I spoke with DLink Support and they acknowledged the
"bug" and suggested disabling WEP and enabling MAC Address Lists (not an
option in the deployment I could do). I simply replaced the 614+ with a
900AP+ and then repeating of WEP enabled wireless worked with all clients
being able to communicate with other clients.

Cable Modem --> 614+ - clients

900AP+ (repeating mode) - clients
