I have a Orinoco (lucent) Silver card (802.11b). I'm considering getting a newer a/b/g card but i had a few questions.
1). Is G being used widespread enough to actually warrant getting a card with the G protocol? 2) Will applications like netstumbler pick up G access points? 3) Are the Proxim Orinoco cards as good (strong) as the old cards before Proxim bought them out? 4) Whats a standard price for these Orinoco A/B/G cards ( so when i start to shop around the net and auctions i'll be able to spot a good deal)?
