Hello, at home I have Linksys:
1) Access point + router w/4port switch
2) pcmcia card for my laptop
I had these for about 18months. They worked well, I was
able to get the full 11MBps (802.11b) in my home and in
my back yard approx 5MBps (some times 11).
Recently the AP's RF section decided not to work on me, so
I now have a nice router to connect my desktop to. The
support team at Linksys helped upgrade the box's DSP code
and run other diagnoistic tests, but we concluded that I needed
to purchase another box. Does anyone know of repair shops ?
Personally, I am going to stick with Linksys.
Curiously, does anyone think that 2years is a good "life time" for this
product ??
Regards,
Joe
