Well I agree with you there. I think they should have let you add a
little bit to your order the next week and not make you buy another $100
minimum. I have dealt with Hyperlink many times and never had a problem.
Now that I have re-read your message, I don't think I will do business with
them again if they don't accomodate you.

I realize that you should "know what you need when you buy it", but what
about when a mistake happens and you either get something that you don't
need or you don't get everything that you need? Don't you think that
"customer service" should play in that arena? Isn't it a little bit
disengenuous to take your money 1 week and refuse to provide you with the
necessary items to make that purchase work the next week because it doesn't
meet your "NEW" rules for minimum purchase?
I am fully blaming Hyperlink for their extreme lack of profesionalism in
this matter and terrible customer service. I will NEVER buy anything from
them again and when asked, I will suggest that others don't either.

Be careful when buying an outdoor wi-fi antenna. I bought one last week from
Hyperlink Technologies Inc. via their website
(http://www.hyperlinktech.com/). After receiving it, I realized that I
needed coax for it to be useable since it only comes with a pigtail that's
about 2 feet long (useless). I come to find out that it's virtually
impossible to find someone that has RPTNC connectors (for Linksys) that are
large enough to accommodate cable that won't loose all of the db gain it has
over any length. Hyperlink has the cable and the connectors but won't sell
them to me because of their "new" $100 minimum order that came into play
last week after I bought the antenna. They told me "no exceptions" and
claimed that all of the management team was unavailable. I guess the words
"customer support" don't exist in South Florida.
In any case, I now have a fairly useless 12 db gain omni antenna without
cable and connectors. Does anyone know where I can find a 50 foot length of
cable similar to Belkin 9913 with the proper connectors [RPTNC Male to RPTNC
Female]???
