Back home, in KC, there is a place called surplus exchange
(http://www.surplusexchange.org/) where people drop off old pc and
electronics hardware and it is sold to the public for highly discounted
prices. I really miss being able to sort through all the old equipment,
stripping out good hardware (like the ever-present 3c905bs), and
occasionally finding a killer deal (like the 200-port 10Mbit condensor I
got for $10 because that was their flat cost for a 'switch').
Is there anything like that in the city? I'm cheap, plus I'd like to
drop off a few pieces of aging hardware.
