Can you define weak signal to us?
Here are a couple ideas for you to start off with:
1. If you can, verify the problem exists using another wireless client, or try with a different wireless card o
2. Check to make sure there is no interference on the channel you have your AP set to. You can run a wireless scanner such as NetStumbler (windows), MacStumber (Mac), or Kismet (Linux) to see what channels your neighbors are on -- you want to set a channel far away from them if you can.
3. You could invest in a better antenna for your access point
Not conclusive but its a start. Tell us more, what model router/AP, how far are you from it, is it line of sight or are there obstructions in the way, what are you using to measure signal?
