Hi all, Are you one of the 35,000 people who came from all over the country to Washington DC yesterday protesting the Keystone XL Pipeline? Do you also eBird? If you do, email me your username, and we can see how many observers and species we can get on one checklist! I already made one, and will gladly share it with anyone interested! If you already have one, it would be cool to try and have one checklist for the event to reflect the number of eBirders at this landmark event. My checklist is below: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S13047561
This oil pipeline will of course have major impacts on wildlife from the high arctic to the gulf coast, and one huge eBird checklist for those who attended would be a great way to show how much birders care about what happens in their native Continent.
