A rather quiet day at my Saturday morning bird walk. The major highlight was the sighting of a coyote! We had good looks as the coyote ran right past the birding group. (A blurry picture on BirdingAroundNYC.com) Later in the walk the coyote appeared again and then mysteriously disappeared into the forest.
As for birds we had 1 Yellow rumped warbler and heard a blue gray gnatcatcher.
