En route to work on Wednesday morning, I encountered a flock of some 75-100 cliff swallows above the high school. There used to be a colony in Bridgehampton, but I haven't seen or heard about it for years, so I was pleased to see this large a group. Not sure where they may settle, but hoping that they can put the South Fork Museum swift nest box to use.
