Im looking right now at 4 female common mergensers, incl.one sitting on the ice,one redhead, one cackling goose that's kinda weird and dark with a interesting white patch on it's head,and another more typical cackling goose. 40% of pond still all ice, this is @ grant park in Hewlett, Nassau county.
