Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     1/14: 12 SANDHILL CRANES were seen from Carncross Road.

     1/15: A WINTER WREN was seen on the Esker Brook Trail

     1/16: 2 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were seen at Howland Island.







Onondaga County

------------




     The RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD on Doyle Road east of Baldwinsville continued up to 
yesterday. No word yet today.

     1/13: A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW continues in the Marshy Spits area on 
Onondaga Lake south of the Honeywell Center. It was relocated on the 17th. 
also. A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the Inner Harbor south of Onondaga 
Lake.

     1/14: 16 RED CROSSBILLS were seen on Shakham Road in the Morgan Hill state 
Forest.

     1/15: A CACKLING GOOSE was seen at the Andrews Road feeder Canal in 
Dewitt. A female SURF SCOTER was seen at the Creek walk at the south end of 
Onondaga Lake.

     1/16: 3 WOOD DUCKS were seen at the Inner Harbor. NORTHERN SHRIKES were 
seen at the Marshy spits of Onondaga Lake and on Van Buren Road in 
Baldwinsville.

     1/17: A RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET was seen at the Marshy Spits on Onondaga 
Lake. A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was seen at the north end of Skaneateles 
lake in Skaneateles. 9 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Shakham Road in the 
Morgan Hill State Forest. A second year GLOUCOUS GULL was seen in the Seneca 
River in Baldwinsville from Marble Island. An ICELAND GULL was seen on Vincent 
Corners Road north of Fabius.

     1/18: A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was seen at the Orchard Vali Golf 
Course on Rt. 20 near LaFayette. A CACKLING GOOSE was seen at the north end of 
Skaneateles Lake from the Village Park. 26 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on 
Shakham Road in the Morgan Hill State Forest.







Oswego County

------------




     1/13: An EVENING GROSBEAK was seen on Stone Hill Road near Williamstown.

     1/14: A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was photographed chasing a Mourning Dove on 
Hinman Road north of Pulaski. A HERMIT THRUSH was seen on East Seneca street in 
Oswego. A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen in Oswego harbor. 

     1/15: A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK continues at a feeder on Clark Road in 
Oswego.

     1/16: A LAPLAND LONGSPUR was seen on Hinman Road north of Oswego.

     1/18: A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the Phoenix Dam and Lock. An 
ICELAND GULL was seen at Indian Point on the Oswego River north of Fulton.







Madison County

------------




     1/14: 3 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Earlville Road in Poolville.

     1/17: A PINE GROSBEAK was seen on Erieville Road south of Erieville. A 
NORTHERN SHRIKE and a SNOWY OWL were seen on Bellinger Road near the Fenner 
wind Farm south of Canastota.







Oneida County

------------




     1/13: 2 KILLDEER were seen in a wet area on Clinton Street in Rome. 

     1/15: 2 TURKEY VULTURES were seen in Waterville. A GRAY CATBIRD was seen 
near the Sangertown Mall in Utica.







Herkimer County

------------




     PINE GROSBEAKS and EVENING GROSBEAKS continue regularly at a residence in 
Salisbury Corners north of Dolgeville.
