The Black-bellied Whistling-duck (BBWD) continues on the East Pond at Jamaica
Bay Wildlife Refuge (JBWR).

It is currently on the shore in the northwest corner on the Southend of the
Pond. As you enter the Pond on the Southend look up North and scan the
shoreline in the NW corner.

Friendly reminder: please cross post when you can. Don’t just drop a note in
the WhatsApp Groups. There are many folks on the listserves NOT in the various
groups who would like to also know about a rare/notable bird in our area.

Cheers,
