Gadwall - 10 Mallard - 27 Mourning Dove - 4 Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 1 in Jewelweed at the Loch Herring Gull - 18 Great Black-backed Gull - 1 Reservoir Double-crested Cormorant - 4 Green Heron - 1 Harlem Meer Black-crowned Night-Heron - 1 adult Harlem Meer island Cooper's Hawk - over North Woods with Red-tailed Hawk escorts Red-tailed Hawk - 3 or 4 incl. a young bird from the nest on Cardinal Cooke hunting near Green Bench Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1 Nutter's Battery Downy Woodpecker - 1 Harlem Meer island Northern Flicker - 6 perched together above the Loch Eastern Wood-Pewee - 1 west side of Great Hill (David Barrett) Red-eyed Vireo - 4 Blue Jay - several American Crow - flyover flock of 5 House Wren - 1 Compost Area American Robin - a dozen Gray Catbird - 6 Northern Mockingbird - 4 House Finch - 3-5 Ovenbird - 1 Loch Northern Waterthrush - 1 Loch Black-and-white Warbler - 4 Common Yellowthroat - 8 American Redstart - 8 incl. adult male northeast Great Hill (Alexandra Wang) Cape May Warbler - 1 Crab Apple Knoll southeast Great Hill (Paul Curtis) Northern Parula - 9 Magnolia Warbler - 1 East Blowdown (Paul Curtis) Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1 adult male northeast Great Hill Northern Cardinal - 6 or 7, some adults still with young in tow -- Andrew Miller reported a Canada Warbler at the Reservoir. @gigpalileo reported a Red-breasted Nuthatch, and Palm and Pine Warblers at the Pinetum, and a Blackpoll Warbler at the Delacorte Theater.
