Well he says the site runs OK in development - typically your LAN cable runs 100Gbit so the server can deliver pages to the client on your LAN without problem, but at the host site you can sometimes be on a cable with much less that 1Gbit and talking to the outside world can be a bottleneck under load. (If you pardon the mixed metaphor). Just one factor to eliminate first. =K=
