If you install Zend Framework you can just use the Zend_Cache library 
standalone - and then you can increase the granularity
and do caching of partials, pieces of output code within a page. So even 
a very dynamic page can take advantage of caching.
(Not to be confused with Zend Cache which is a script caching product).
