Hi all, This sounds like some sort of malware, but I've never heard of them redirecting to innocent old Google so it may be a plugin that the user isn't aware of installing.
I have one customer who, when they type a particular website address in the address bar of IE7, are redirected to a google search on that domain. The correct site is listed in 1st position ofcourse. Clicking on the correct site at the top of the search results in a 404. This same thing happens on 2 different machines on the same network. I have had them clear cache and cookies. But still the same. Anyone heard of this? I can find nothing online. The user reports no similar issue with any other url. For the record, the site was moved around 3 weeks ago, but no other user has reported any problems. DNS? Their ISP is Compass.
