Go online. 12 months ago I would never have believed I would be working full time from my home for people all round the world. In March I started bidding online and now I've got enough work to keep myself going for months without having to look for any more.
You could start by going to the cakephp site: http://www.cakephp.org/jobs. The third job down is in NZ, but it doesn't really matter where the jobs are.
