We are looking for a service conscious all-rounder to join our small professional team and run the recurring services unit of our operation. The majority of the role consists of promoting our recurring services, which involves actively selling as well as setup and ongoing development of niche websites. You will also perform maintenance and small extension developments on our clients websites. This part requires quick turnaround times, attention to detail and an absolute dedication to quality and service. Your responsibility will include outsourcing some of this work to other contractors and project managing all aspects. The ideal person has has intermediate PHP/ MySQL, HTML and CSS development skills. Graphic design skills are useful, but not required. You also have a good working knowledge of some form of web hosting, preferably on Linux. We have a high level of technical and business skills in our company and this will offer you plenty of opportunities to grow, including our support for attending business development courses. At the same time you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of solutions and systems that constantly develop and change. You are ideally an excellent communicator, both by phone and in person and offer our services with absolute integrity and professionalism. We are not looking for a hard-sell kind of person, but you need to be able to sell products of genuine value to the customer. You have excellent time management skills and organisational ability. Small operators or someone with a freelancing background may suit this role particularly well. If you have plans for your own business or are developing a web based product, we can customise the role to suit a temporary time frame of 12 months plus. This is a contracting role, for 20h per week - boost able to 30h, based in Auckland with an appealing combination of hourly and bonus-based remuneration.
