Hi Matt, 1. You can check the watchdog logs (typically yoursite/admin/logs/watchdog and filter through the log entries to see if you can spot anything obvious 2. Do you have access to the php error logs? If so, taking a look at the most recent entries after update.php attempts to run may provide some light.
