I've used a few, but currently my favourite is Netbeans.

Most of the other's have said the pros. I like it cause it has all the
features I need, and supports lots of really cool stuff (PHPUnit,
visual code coverage, etc).

One con is that the diff is a bit clunky, but that's probably because
it's using the "standard" diff, which is a bit dumb sometimes.

I've used:
Zend Studio 5 & 5.5., Eclipse PDT (older version), a few of the other
free ones (most are crap), and PHPEd which I liked a lot, but it's
Windows only & costs.

Why pay for something when Netbeans is as good, if not better, than
most of the pay ones I've used.
