Hi All,
I need to recommend a good shared host for an important client. The site
isn't especially CPU-heavy or complicated, so we don't see the need to
use dedicated hosting - also we don't want to have to manage one or
provide the 24x7 support.
Price isn't of particular concern, but great support and reliability is.
Needs to be US-based, and preferably with a large, stable company. This
client got screwed by their old developer/host, so they want something
large, independent and robust - no more mom & pop hosting. 24x7 support
is a must.
Has anyone used MediaTemple (http://mediatemple.net/webhosting/gs/)
recently? We used them a few years back and they were good, and the idea
of cluster/grid hosting appeals. Any other suggestions welcome, I need
to suggest a few different options and it's been a while since I have
needed to use this kind of hosting.
