Hi, have not used S3, but an EC2 server for backing up my web servers. About $160 per month for 300 GB disk space.
The problem is that any of these backup schemes need to work flawlessly for years. Mine hasn't, instead I had it suck out many hundred gigabytes over and over regularly. I have just last week switched to a local provider that has a reseller scheme, I get free space for any clients I refer plus wholesale rates for my own data.
