The core team engages in a quick 20-25 minute "standup" call on Tuesdays and Thursdays [1]. Our standup calls are based on the daily scrum meeting concept and each team member on the call answers the following questions:
1. what did you do over the last two days? 2. what are you doing today and tomorrow? 3. any impediments? The calls are open and we encourage contributors who are working on OAE to attend. Others are welcome to call in and listen but these calls are designed to highlight accomplishments, next tasks and impediments and are scoped tightly as to time. Problem solving is handled post-call and discussions regarding general project issues or goals are directed to other forums.
