A lot of content applications nowadays contain significant client-side
functionality written largely in JavaScript and leveraging frameworks like
JQuery or Backbone. JavaScript is also increasingly being used on the server.
To enable easy integration with such applications Oak should come with
first-class JavaScript bindings that work well with the major JavaScript
frameworks.
