I see a number of bugs labeled "candidate_oak_1_4": see
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-4883?jql=project%20%3D%20OAK%20AND%20issuetype%20%3DBug%20%20and%20labels%3Dcandidate_oak_1_4%20ORDER%20BY%20priority%20DESC>.

As we are releasing 1.4 only twice per year, it would be good to look at
the issues and see whether it's ok to release right now without a fix
(in some cases the answer might be to remove the "candidate" label if we
indeed do not indend to backport the fix at all).

Best regards, Julian
