we should document this is the 'changes wrt jackrabbit' sections as this is not
the same behavior
as jackrabbit had. afaik jackrabbit recalculated the definition of all items
defined by the mixin
and removed those that were no longer valid with the new effective node type of
the parent node
irrespective of the protection status. this is quite different from the new
behavior isn't it?
