Hi [~edivad]: just fyi: because the UUID naming convention isn't working yet,
it's a stretch to say this is even working in a single node. We need a big
global lock to make it work currently there in case multiple increments come on
different threads (which is very possible in some of our use cases). So if you
could get us the UUID part first, that would be great, because we need to
adjust our code to make use of it. It would be great if the rest of clusters
could magically just work without code changes on our part, but without the
UUID stuff that isn't possible.
