Andrei Dulceanu commented on OAK-4309:
--------------------------------------
[~mduerig]
bq. Does this accept relative paths? If yes, relative to what?
Yes, it accepts. The path is relative to the current working directory.
bq. Configuration.getBaseDirectory() referring to "tarmk". Is this correct?
Configuration.getRootDirectory() refers to "repository".
I also noticed this inconsistency, it was there before fixing the backup code
with OAK-5069. I guess we should stick to one of this directories (e.g.
"repository") and its associated method and get rid of the other (and of its
{{getBaseDirectory}} method). WDYT?

> We need to align / improve the labels and descriptions in
> {{SegmentNodeStoreService}} to match their actual purpose. At the same time I
> would opt for changing "compaction" to "revision gc" in all places where it
> is used synonymously for the latter.
