[~ionutpirlogea] didn't elaborate on his approach, which I don't understand. I
think we have two reasonable options. Tweaking pmin or just use the unmodified
vector, which I still think is perfectly reasonable. I can try to come up with
additional tests, but that would really be uneducated guessing. Do have have a
certain test setup in mind?
